Switchboard 0.6.1

Choose a tag to compare

@quasa0 quasa0 released this 30 Sep 19:45

Claude reset balances now keep surface eligibility separate from owned grants. Reset reads report the installed Claude Code version and identify Switchboard. An empty ineligible response no longer displays a false zero or erases confirmed grants; unavailable reads retain saved data. Every unused, unexpired grant remains visible with its expiry and use conditions. Resets remain read-only.

Removed the large Active badge and Remaining allowance header text. The active row retains its highlight and accessibility state. Switching keeps controls and column spacing stable.

Validation: 195 synthetic core tests, 49 offline billing cases, and 27 native UI states/actions. Both Apple silicon and Intel binaries target macOS 14+. Runtime checks used Apple silicon. Live account reset balances were not tested.

The download is universal, ad hoc signed, and not notarized. Follow the installation guide for first-open instructions. Existing 0.6.0 installations can use Check for Updates after the feed is activated.

Switchboard 0.6.0

@quasa0 quasa0 released this 30 Sep 16:06

Switchboard 0.6.0 makes saved-account usage checks more resilient and shows the information needed to choose the next account.

  • Codex keeps bounded account-specific login backups and retries authentication failures in isolated profiles. Provider-revoked sessions still need a new sign-in through Switchboard.
  • Usage refreshes every five minutes. The dashboard shows reported usage credits, all available Codex reset expiries, fresh-account recommendations, and neutral controls with stable columns during switching.
  • Claude reset grants use the saved Claude Code login automatically. Billing can use an optional Claude Desktop sign-in. Google sign-in retains its separate popup and provides retry/error feedback. Resets are read-only.
  • Native updates follow T3 Code's interaction: background checks, explicit download with progress, then confirmed install and restart. Sparkle verifies both the feed and archive against the pinned signing key.

Verification: 190 synthetic core tests, 47 offline billing-reader cases, 25 native UI states/actions, an inline WebKit opener/completion test, and eight real Sparkle fixtures including installation/relaunch. Runtime checks used Apple silicon; Intel is cross-built. Real Google/Claude Desktop sign-in completion was not tested with user credentials.

Requires macOS 14 or later. Universal Apple silicon/Intel build. This public build is ad hoc signed and not notarized. Versions before 0.6.0 need one manual install to gain the updater. Installation: https://switchboard.quasa0.com/#install

Switchboard 0.5.2

Choose a tag to compare

@quasa0 quasa0 released this 25 Sep 12:28

Fixes Claude usage and switching when a credential fallback file exists. Switchboard now follows Claude Code’s Keychain-first selection and supports an existing file-based login, including interrupted-switch recovery. Unrelated credentials remain intact.

Codex usage now retries once through the CLI’s token refresh after HTTP 401. Errors distinguish authentication, workspace access, service failures, and unsupported RPC methods without exposing server bodies or credentials.

Validation: 153 synthetic core tests, 41 billing-reader cases, 17 native UI states, and ZIP/DMG signature and architecture checks. No real account credentials were used for testing.

Download the DMG or ZIP for Apple silicon and Intel Macs running macOS 14 or later. This build is ad hoc signed and not Apple-notarized. See https://switchboard.quasa0.com/#install for first-open instructions.

@quasa0 quasa0 released this 24 Sep 20:36

Switchboard brings Claude Code and Codex subscription accounts into one native Mac dashboard. Compare remaining limits, exact reset times, plan tiers, and available subscription dates. Select the account to use for new CLI sessions.

Install

Download the universal DMG and drag Switchboard into Applications, or use the ZIP. Both support macOS 14+ on Apple silicon and Intel. Install the official CLI for each provider you use.

This build is ad hoc signed and not Apple-notarized. After the first open attempt, macOS may require System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway. Only approve this if you trust the download. Apple's instructions.

Installation and agent guide · Source and build instructions

Included

  • DMG and ZIP, SHA256SUMS.txt, and a machine-readable release.json with hashes and signing status.
  • Installation-first README, user and architecture guides, contribution/security policies, and automated checks.
  • Explicit ad hoc signing no longer selects a personal development certificate.

Account-switching behavior is unchanged from 0.5.0. Close the provider's sessions before switching. This app changes CLI logins, not browser accounts. The ChatGPT section shows Codex quotas, not ChatGPT message limits.

Validation: 139 synthetic core tests; 41 offline billing-reader cases; 17 UI states on Apple silicon, including a fresh ZIP extraction; DMG mounted and signature verified. Both architectures are included and target macOS 14; Intel runtime behavior was not tested on Intel hardware. No real account credentials were accessed for these checks.
