chore(release): 1.6

The release job only cuts a release when v${project.version} has no tag
yet, so the previous commit built cleanly and then skipped straight past
create-release: the version was still 1.5, which shipped on 28 July. The
bought-message option and the removal of apiBaseUrl were therefore on
main with no jar for anyone to download.
