Please add cl-libssh2

It's a binding to the libssh2 library, and right now the only Common Lisp SSH client library out there. I've tried it and it does seem to work as advertised, at least for connecting and handling known_hosts.

It doesn't build for me on SBCL. The system file references a file with a pathname-name of "foo.bar", which then signals an error when taking its namestring. Are you able to build it in SBCL?

It builds fine for me. What do you mean with a pathname-name of "foo.bar"? As in, literally? I don't see anything like that in the system definition. If you mean libssh2-libc.cffi, that file doesn't cause any problems.

I'm using 1.2.2, maybe that's the problem. I just tried this on CCL 1.9 and it worked fine too.

Zach, I had this error too, but it disappeared after I recompiled cffi-grovel. (asdf:load-system :cffi-grovel :force t) should help; otherwise just clean your ASDF cache.

I start every build with a blank cache.

I opened an issue with CFFI: cffi/cffi#52
I don't understand how it compiled once before the patch.

The author @alxchk has moved the repo to https://github.com/alxchk/cl-libssh2.git, the CFFI file with the dot in its name has been renamed, so it builds and works with current SBCL.

Could you please retry?
