Release v1.0.0 - Initial Production Release

This release marks the first production-ready version of the r52dev/iso20022-payment package, a fork of the original z38/swiss-payment library.

About this fork

  • This package is based on the work of z38, the original creator of the Swiss ISO 20022 payment XML generator.
  • It also incorporates enhancements and modifications originally contributed by the invoicery/iso20022-payment maintainers.
  • The fork adapts and extends the package to support Nordic banking formats and requirements, including country-specific BBAN formats, optional omission of creditor agents for domestic transfers, and improved validation.
  • The fork was made to specifically conform to Danish Nordea Business file-import feature for payments — examples will be provided in the README later.

Contributors

  • z38 – Original author of the Swiss ISO 20022 payment package.
  • invoicery – Maintainers of the upstream fork adapting the package.
  • r52dev – Current maintainers adapting the package for Nordic banking systems.

Notable changes in this release

  • Added support for Danish BBAN with branch code and account number handling.
  • Introduced DomesticBankCreditTransfer class to handle domestic transfers without requiring creditor BIC.
  • Improved validation and formatting to align with Nordic banks, including Nordea.
  • Refactored namespaces to R52dev\ISO20022 to clearly differentiate this fork.
  • Updated PHP minimum version requirement to 7.0+ to leverage modern language features.
  • Enhanced Debtor class to support both simple debtor name strings and structured debtor objects with optional country and organization ID schemes, allowing full ISO 20022 <Dbtr> element rendering and improved flexibility for debtor data representation.

Usage

See the README for usage examples and integration details.

Thank you to all contributors and maintainers who made this package possible!
