CarCast for Android 0.3.17 (2026-10-21)

CarCast for Android 0.3.17: a CarPlay receiver for Android tablets, phones and head units, plus AirPlay, DLNA and USB mirroring.

• Built-in car logos: the same 114 logos as iCarCast (car brands, bicycle and motorcycle), in Settings › Car › Built-in logos. Your own image still works.
• Driving position: left- or right-hand drive; CarPlay puts its dock on the driver's side.
• Night mode: a dark CarPlay; it also switches a session that's already running.
• Smaller and faster to install: the APK is optimized and installs in seconds.

Install CarCast-0.3.17.apk on the Android device (allow installs from unknown sources). It installs over earlier CarCast builds and keeps your settings.

• Android 5.0 or later (wireless setup with the device's own hotspot needs 8.0).
• Test build: it stops working 90 days after it was built, on 2027-01-19. Newer builds will be posted under Releases.
