rPlayHub Android for Linux 1.0.1
First Linux release of rPlayHub Android: the native C++17 / SDL2 / Dear ImGui client, in the style of the macOS app.
Install (Ubuntu 22.04 or later, Debian 12 or later, x86_64):
sudo apt install ./rplayhub-android_1.0.1-1_amd64.debThen launch "rPlayHub Android" or run rplayhub-android. It pulls in adb, SDL2 and the distribution's FFmpeg libraries, and ships the device agent it pushes to the phone on first mirror. Wireless: adb connect <phone-ip>:5555 first.
What is in it
- Low-latency mirroring (H.264/HEVC) with touch, keyboard, clipboard and audio; a pop-out phone window with rounded corners that turns into a normal window when the mouse approaches; screenshots and recording.
- Desktop Mode and app windows on virtual displays.
- macOS-style UI: sidebar with Available/Emulators, ⋮ menu (Device/View/Window/Help), inspector groups Settings / Logs / Info (Apps, Files), settings switches.
- 3D device twin that turns with the phone's rotation vector.
- Foldables (Pixel Fold): posture and hinge angle from the agent, the fold drawn live on the stage, and the "duo" twin (two hinged halves, hard cut / locked / stylized modes).
