rPlayHub Android 1.1.1 — the fold, fixed
A fix release for foldables, hours after 1.1.0. If you have a Pixel Fold or another foldable, take this one.
Install
Download rPlayHubAndroid-1.1.1.dmg below, open it, drag the app to Applications. Signed with a Developer ID and notarized by Apple.
Fixed
- The session dropped at the fold. On a foldable, every cover↔inner panel swap restarts the on-device video encoder, and once the phone was warm the hardware encoder refused to start while its previous instance was still shutting down. The agent treated that as fatal, so the session died on every fold and the app soon reported "Mirroring keeps failing." The agent now waits out that moment and retries — verified across dozens of consecutive folds.
- Smoother sensors over Wi‑Fi. The hinge and orientation are rendered from a short buffer keyed to the sensors' own clocks, sized to the jitter the link actually shows, instead of from the newest packet.
Tuned
- The frosted-glass translucency of the moving half in the Stylized look is fainter (the other half's content no longer ghosts through), and a
lockconstant lets you carry the picture with the glass instead of fixing it in space.
Since 1.1.0 (yesterday)
