Grid v0.2.0-beta
Pre-release
Pre-release
Grid's second beta, and the first since the repository went public. The new intro video is attached.
Install with one command
curl -fsSL https://grid.rabtx.dev/install.sh | bash # Grid itself, on port 8080
curl -fsSL https://grid.rabtx.dev/install.sh | bash -s -- runner # only a runner, for a Grid you already runLinux or macOS, with git. Installs Bun if it is missing, keeps Grid running as a user service, and adds a grid command (status, logs, pair, update, uninstall). Grid itself needs no Docker: it starts on an embedded database.
Highlights since v0.1.0-beta
- New look: the redesigned console, the new Grid mark, a floating sidebar, split view, and a reworked home with a pulse view.
- Agents: permissions per action (allow, ask or never), roles that limit what each agent may do, ACP agents you add yourself, and skills.
- Connectors: official MCP servers with OAuth, a vault for secrets, and a proxy that keeps agents inside the rules.
- Ship and operate: environments, promote and roll back, pipelines, previews, project logs, reported costs and health incidents.
- Search and Ask Grid: search threads and files, and get answers that cite what you can see.
- Machines: update Grid and restart it from Settings, and run the built stack without dev servers for always-on use.
- Sign-in and security: emailed sign-in links, a second factor after Google sign-in, a content security policy, a console that other sites can't frame, and runners that serve only their owner's workspaces.
- Website: a new landing page at grid.rabtx.dev.
