spot-ceph StorageClass not available on existing Gen1 cloudspace (hkg-hkg-1) after GA

Summary

The changelog says spot-ceph is now GA in all Gen1 datacenters (July 2026). However, my existing Gen1 cloudspace does not have the spot-ceph StorageClass, and the Ceph CSI driver itself does not appear to be deployed.

Environment

• Organization: free
• Cloudspace: kunon-jp
• Region: hkg-hkg-1 (Gen1)

What I see

Questions

1. Does the GA rollout apply to existing cloudspaces, or only to newly created ones?
2. If existing cloudspaces are supposed to get it, is there something I need to do to trigger the rollout (or does it still require an access request, as in the beta)?
3. If it's new-cloudspaces-only, is there a planned timeline for backfilling existing Gen1 cloudspaces?

Also note: the Persistent Volumes docs still describe spot-ceph as a Limited Access Beta available only in IAD/ORD, which contradicts the changelog — it would be great to have that page updated too.

Dear @kunonon you are correct in pointing this out. I realize our communication yesterday about "all-gen 1" datacenters created this perception that spot-ceph should be available in HKG and SYD; however, we will not be able to introduce those capabilities in those two smaller sites.
