Structured OCR 1.1.0

Install

  1. Download StructuredOCR-1.1.0.dmg below.
  2. Open it and drag StructuredOCR.app to Applications.
  3. Open the app and choose Settings from its menu-bar icon to add your Gemini API key.
  4. macOS will request Screen Recording permission the first time you capture a region.

The app is signed with a Developer ID certificate, notarized by Apple, and runs natively on both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs. Requires macOS 14 or later.

What's new

  • Redesigned toast notifications, shown with mactoast, which is bundled inside the app — nothing extra to install
  • Toasts appear centered on the region you just captured and always size themselves to fit the full message
  • Toasts are silent by default; pick an optional notification sound under Settings → Notifications (changing it plays a preview)
  • Distribution moved to a DMG installer with drag-to-Applications layout
