Release candidate: Tern v0.1.0 (internal testing)

Tern v0.1.0 — first test release ✈️
Tern is a paragliding flight computer that keeps working when the signal doesn't —
and lets you see your crew on the map with no cell service at all. This is the first
build out to testers; thank you for flying it early.
What you can try
- Truly offline maps — pan anywhere; maps, terrain, airspace, launch sites and
thermal hotspots stream in and stay cached. No "download region" step. - Comp-style task planning — drop turnpoints on the map; legs, distance and a
time estimate update as you go. Set start/turns/goal with cylinder radii. - Per-site weather — tap a launch for wind on the hill, thermal strength by the
hour, cloudbase and a plain go / caution call. - Flight deck — live vario, climb/sink-coloured track, thermal cores, next-waypoint
guidance, glide and wind — glanceable and one-handed. Pairs with an XC Tracer vario,
or falls back to phone GPS. - Flight recording & logbook — your flight is recorded automatically, saved locally
with stats, and exportable as a standard IGC file. - See your crew with zero signal (needs a paired LoRa radio) — buddies live on
your map over a private, encrypted mesh: no cell, no tower, no fees.
Privacy
Location is used only while the app is open — there is no background-location
permission. Your tracks stay on your device unless you choose to share them. No
account required; no ads.
Known limitations (it's an early build)
- A few areas are still being verified on real devices: logbook map-replay, flight-
recording signing, and the vario picker. - One-button SOS isn't in yet.
- No crash reporter yet — if something crashes, please tell us what you were doing.
- Android only for now.
