The Known Issues section incorrectly described all token numbers as estimates, but the extension has since gained support for reading actual LLM API-reported token counts from Copilot Chat JSONL sessions and OpenCode sessions — falling back to character-ratio estimation only when actual data is unavailable.

Changes

  • First bullet: Replaced the blanket "estimates" framing with the accurate description: actual token counts are used when available; estimation is the fallback.
  • Fifth bullet: Scoped the estimation caveat to only apply when actual token counts are unavailable, rather than describing it as the universal approach.
