The bundled nvngx_dlssnr.dll is a patched build whose author states it adds
RTX 20/30/40 support and runs identically on RTX 50.

The DX11/DX9 add-on ships with the app but starts switched off, because it is
newer and its author marks it as possibly buggy.

How to enable it

1. Open Add-ons in DLSS 5 Swapper.

2. Enable DX12 / DX11 / DX9 Support.

3. Go to your Game Library and select the game you want.

4. Install DLSS 5 on the game.

5. Launch the game and test it!

The add-on handles the integration automatically, allowing compatible games without native DLSS support to use DLSS 5.

DLSS 5 Swapper v1.1.1

Fixes v1.1.0, which could not install ReShade. That build was assembled without the bundled ReShade installer, so the ReShade step silently did nothing. If you are on v1.1.0, replace it with this.

Also bundles the custom nvngx_dlssnr.dll published by the RenoDX author, which he states adds RTX 40 and 50 series support.

What it does

Pick a game folder and it handles the rest:

• Finds the real executable and its rendering API — three detection layers cover normal games, protected builds that load Direct3D at runtime (GTA V Enhanced), and engines that keep the renderer in a separate DLL (Control, Unity titles).
• Upgrades every DLSS and Streamline DLL where it already lives, including the ones Unreal buries under Engine\Binaries\ThirdParty\NVIDIA\NGX\Win64.
• Places the add-on correctly — renodx-dlss5.addon64 and nvngx_dlssnr.dll next to the executable, which is the only place the add-on will load from.
• Installs ReShade silently and verifies the add-on loader is really there. A game already running ReShade as a .asi gets that file upgraded in place instead of a second ReShade being added alongside it.
• Backs up everything first. Restore originals puts every file back and removes what was added.

Interface is English and Arabic, switchable at any time.

Known limitations

• The DLSS 5 add-on is DirectX 12 only.
• The add-on targets ReShade API 18; an older ReShade already installed gets an optional in-place update.
• A game under Program Files needs the app run as administrator — checked before anything is touched.
