v0.5.11: genesis vesting

Timelocked RAND for the internal team, investors and founding partners (PR #6). The full guide is docs/vesting.md.

  • Public vesting register: seeded by an optional genesis vesting section. A shielded note can't be held back, so locked allocations sit outside the pool and enter it only when claimed.
  • Four new actions (24–27), bundle-less and signed over the genesis hash:
    • ClaimVested: pays the vested part into a note.
    • RevokeVesting: revocable entries only; pays the unvested part to a treasury address and freezes the entry.
    • BondVested / UnbondVested: irrevocable entries only; bonds locked RAND as validator stake, which returns to the lock when unbonded.
  • Schedule: a cliff, then a linear release after it, either continuous or in monthly steps (the SAFT's shape). Time is the block timestamp.
  • RPC: rand_getVesting, rand_getVestingSummary, rand_getVestingSchedule (the owner-free lockup table), and new vesting_* fields in rand_getSupply.
  • CLI: rand-node genesis --vesting and rand-node vesting status|claim|revoke|bond|unbond.

Compatibility: active on no chain. Chain 15's genesis has no vesting section, so a v0.5.11 node behaves as v0.5.10 there, and nothing needs to be rolled. The feature takes effect at the next genesis cut that carries the section.

No binaries are attached to this release.

Tests:

  • Core: 503 passed.
  • Node library: 327 passed; the 13 failures are the recursion-fixture tests, which need a fixture cache this build machine doesn't have.
  • Node binaries: 18 passed.
  • genesis_cli, submit, ws: all passed.
  • Client library: 114 passed.
  • The cluster and wallet-flow suites were not run.
