Against the Storm Accessibility Mod v1.7.1

The game, its DLCs, and the demo are fully playable with this mod. All core gameplay mechanics are accessible via screen reader.

What's Changed

New features

• Wildcard blueprint picker: buildings now announce the same recipe details as the reputation reward picker — each recipe's good, star grade, whether it is new, better, worse, or already unlocked, and whether it can be produced on the current map. Non-workshop buildings announce their description.

Bug fixes

• Speech: updated the bundled Prism library to v0.18.2 and fixed text encoding at the speech boundary; non-English text is no longer sometimes silently dropped.
• The Seal overlay's section names are now translated in all nine supported languages instead of always reading in English.

Internal

• A failed Harmony patch or key handler no longer disables the rest of the mod; failures are isolated per patch and per handler.
• Reflection failures are logged once per member per session, and the build validates translation placeholders.
• Wildcard blueprint picker labels are built once per open instead of on every keypress.

Installation

1. Locate your Against the Storm installation folder. The default for Steam is:
   C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Against the Storm
   Other platforms (GOG, Epic) will have different locations.

2. Extract the contents of the zip file directly into the game folder.

3. Launch the game. Your screen reader should announce "Main menu" when it loads.

Uninstallation

Delete the BepInEx folder, winhttp.dll, and doorstop_config.ini from your game folder.
