Stash v0.9.74
π§― Stability
- The Now Playing stutter-then-crash should be far less frequent (#238, #239). Those crashes were the app running out of memory mid-playback β the screen stutters more and more, then the app dies. This release doubles the app's memory headroom while the root cause is tracked down, and cuts several sources of memory and storage churn during playback (position saves are now batched instead of written on every player event, and album-art color extraction runs once per artwork instead of on every screen visit).
- Crash reports now show what was using memory. If Stash still crashes, the report you can share from Settings β About & Help records how full memory was, what kind of memory filled it, and how big the playback queue was β one shared report can now pinpoint a cause that used to take weeks of guessing.
π§ Now Playing
- Tap the song title to open the artist. The title/artist block on Now Playing is now tappable β it opens the artist's profile scrolled to the album that's playing, so you can jump from "what is this?" to the rest of the discography in one tap.
