Added

  • Syntax highlighting for fenced code blocks via highlight.js — covers ~36 popular languages including JS/TS, Python, Go, Rust, Bash, JSON, CSS, HTML, SQL, and more (#15)
  • Light + dark token palettes tuned to read across all three themes; per-theme refinement can layer on later
  • Theme + dark/light mode preference now persists across sessions via globalState (#16)
  • Webview toolbar theme/mode clicks also persist (previously dropped silently by the message handler)

Notes

  • Bundle size grew from ~300KB to ~665KB — the cost of bundling highlight.js's common-language pack. Shiki would have been ~2MB; deferred.
