Choose a tag to compare

@razielpanic razielpanic released this 08 Feb 03:00

What's New in v1.2

  • YAML Front Matter — Metadata between --- delimiters is extracted and displayed as a clean, styled two-column section above the document body
  • Width-Adaptive Layout — Rendering automatically adapts to available width with scaled fonts, spacing, and a 640pt max content width for comfortable fullscreen reading
  • Responsive Tables — Content-proportional column sizing with compact mode for narrow contexts and smart wrap/truncate hybrid for long content
  • Task List Checkboxes — GFM - [ ] and - [x] render as SF Symbol circle icons with system accent blue coloring
  • Cross-Context Snapshot Testing — 6 regression baselines (3 widths × 2 appearances) ensure all features work together across spacebar popup, Finder preview pane, and fullscreen Quick Look

  2. Open the DMG and drag the app to Applications
  3. Open the app once to register the Quick Look extension

After the app launches for the first time, you need to enable the extension:

  1. Open System Settings
  2. Go to Extensions → Quick Look
  3. Toggle MD Quick Look to on
  4. Open a new Finder window, select any .md file, and press Space
