Alpha Release Task List

The following are what we decided are necessary for an initial release:

Screen Layout

• Owner: Ziyi, Manuel
• Requirements:
  • Working Icons only
  • Icons on left in 2 columns in both modes
  • Icon for SignalGen module (currently missing)
  • All buttons (mode, login, new project) either on left or on a single toolbar across the top.
  • Column mode has no labels (create columns automatically)
  • Column mode drag to anywhere (bottom of page or new column) works as expected.

OSC documentation

• Owner: Amit, Roger

Modules in general

• Owner: Kristin + Amit
• Requirement:
  • Size adjustment: See RBD email 4/15/20 12:12pm ET
  • patching should work
  • patching should be saved and should restore
  • delete buttons should all work

Player

• Owner: Kristin
• Status: Modules Status Table

Mixer

• Owner: Kristin
• Status: Modules Status Table

Speaker

• Owner: Roger
• Status: Needs to be tested to confirm it is complete.
• Audio Configuration: nothing required for Alpha, Ankit looking into what's possible within Web Audio

Runs on local server

• Owner: none
• Status: This is complete when everything else is complete. It's mentioned here just to remind everyone that we are not implementing a cloud service (yet).

Installer

• Owner: Amit
• Status: ?
• Requirement: monolithic binary to run Soundcool server on local host

Local storage for sounds and projects

• Owner: Roger
• Status: Roger wants to test and review documentation. Maybe we're done.

Tested on Lliurex

• Owner: Saul
• Status: Do we know of any problems that are particular to Lliurex? Have we tried running on Lliurex?
