Panel Notes v0.1.4

This maintenance release pins every GitHub Actions dependency to its full commit SHA, preventing mutable version tags from changing the CI code executed on pushes and pull requests. Checkout no longer persists repository credentials. A regression check flags mutable action references.

The clipboard/process protection from v0.1.2 is unchanged. This release also corrects a test-only race when Linux removes an exited process during cleanup verification. Local validation passed: 44 Python tests, Markdown checks, QML lint, and Omarchy package validation.

This security fix prevents a malicious or malfunctioning clipboard owner from making the notes service buffer unlimited data during image paste.

• Clipboard MIME lists are capped at 16 KiB and images at 25 MiB while reading. Overflow and timeout stop the subprocess group; incomplete images are never imported.
• External context-provider responses receive the same protection at their existing 128 KiB limit. Snapshot file reads are also bounded.
• Added regression coverage for endless producers, child-process cleanup, stderr flooding, boundary sizes, normal image formats, and continued note saving after a rejected paste.

Validation: 43 Python tests, Markdown checks, QML lint, and Omarchy package validation passed locally.

Panel Notes v0.1.1

Superseded by v0.1.2. Update to v0.1.2 for the clipboard memory-limit security fix.

This patch removes the development-only .impeccable.md file from the installable plugin and excludes it from future normal commits.

It also recommends Super+Alt+E consistently in the README, setup helper, and shortcut guides. Existing bindings change only if you explicitly rerun shortcut setup; the helper checks conflicts and backs up edits.

Panel Notes adds Markdown notes to the app you are using, with named tabs for ideas, research, and whatever comes next.

• One App note plus named tabs, with rename, search, autosave, and recovery.
• Markdown preview, pasted images, and source-window snapshots.
• Current Omarchy theme colors and a subtle 200 ms opening/closing animation.
• Keyboard shortcuts and optional editing in Omawrite.
• Local Markdown files in ~/Documents/Panel Notes by default; removing the plugin preserves notes.

Requires Omarchy 4 with the Quickshell shell and Lua Hyprland configuration, Python 3, and wl-clipboard. Notes are app-scoped; automatic browser, terminal, and document context is not included.
