v0.3.4
New
- Updates. Once a day reman asks GitHub whether a new version is out, and a desktop notification says so, once per version, suggesting
reman update --auto on.reman updateinstalls the latest release now;reman update --checkonly says whether one is out. With--auto on, or install them on their own inreman settings, new versions install by themselves and a notification says so afterwards. Never check keeps reman off the network entirely. - Signed releases. Every release's
SHA256SUMS.txtis now signed with reman's release key (Ed25519,SHA256SUMS.txt.sig). reman installs an update only when that signature is valid for the public key built into it, and the archive matches its signed checksum. It installs only newer versions; from GitHub's answer it uses only the version number, builds every download address itself, and uses https only. An AI agent can't turn automatic updates on.
