Spooly 0.1.12

Choose a tag to compare

@rdcstout rdcstout released this 02 Sep 02:00

What changed

  • The macOS build is now signed with an Apple Developer ID and notarized by Apple.
  • Enabled Apple hardened runtime and the Electron runtime entitlements required for notarization.
  • Added automatic notarization, ticket stapling, DMG signing, and Gatekeeper verification to the macOS release pipeline.
  • Removed the obsolete Privacy & Security workaround from the Mac installer.

Verification

  • 54 automated tests passed.
  • The notarized DMG and mounted Spooly app both pass strict signature and Gatekeeper assessment as Notarized Developer ID.
  • Apple notarization status: Accepted.
  • The signed Mac installer was installed and confirmed working on the release Mac.
  • DMG and installer SHA-256 checksums were verified.

macOS may still display Apple’s standard first-open confirmation for software downloaded from the internet. Windows SmartScreen may still ask for confirmation because the Windows build does not yet have a Microsoft code-signing certificate.

Spooly 0.1.11

@rdcstout rdcstout released this 01 Sep 23:11

What changed

  • Fixed mascot size drift while dragging Spooly between Windows displays using different scaling levels.
  • Kept drag movement and window sizing atomic across mixed-DPI monitor transitions.
  • Added regression coverage for repeated 100% to 125% display transitions and display-edge clamping.

Verification

  • 51 automated tests passed.
  • Physically tested across a three-monitor Windows setup with 100% and 125% scaling.
  • macOS DMG integrity and ad-hoc application signature verified.
  • Both packaged applications report version 0.1.11 and contain the mixed-DPI fix.

The builds are not signed with an Apple Developer ID or Microsoft code-signing certificate, so macOS Gatekeeper or Windows SmartScreen may ask for confirmation.

@rdcstout rdcstout released this 31 Aug 14:46

Spooly 0.1.10

Spooly's first public open-source release.

  • Free desktop companion for monitoring multiple local 3D printers
  • Bambu Lab local MQTT and Klipper/Moonraker support
  • Animated status mascot with printer progress, temperatures, and fan telemetry
  • Fixed mixed-printer notification priority so a completed printer takes precedence over printers that are still printing
  • macOS Apple silicon DMG
  • Windows x64 installer

Spooly is distributed under GPLv3. These builds are not publisher-signed, so macOS Gatekeeper or Windows SmartScreen may display a warning. Use SHA256SUMS to verify downloads.
