Changes

Kext

  • Fix HP/speaker sound universally: unmute output pin amps at init instead of hacking hpSwitchHandler. Fixes ALC897 headphones, ALC256 speakers, and any other codec with muted output amps on pins.
  • Removed all per-codec output amp heuristics from switch handler — switching uses only input amps and pin ctrl as originally designed.

PrefPane

  • Universal layout: programmatic scaling adapts to any System Settings / System Preferences width (Tahoe, Sequoia, and older).
  • Adaptive margins: no margin on Tahoe (host provides padding), 15px on Sequoia/older (no host padding).
  • Fix layout with non-English system languages: explicitly resize NSBox contentView after box resize, so controls are correctly clamped to visible area regardless of sidebar width.
  • Boxes fill full available width, right-column controls float, sliders clamped with padding.
