i keep getting this warning saying to use Vite is CRA no longer supported ?

The latest docs of React recommends to use frameworks like Next.js, Gatsby or Remix to build new apps using React.

If you don't want to use one of these, you can indeed use a tool like Vite which integrates more alternatives (React, Vuejs, Svelte...TS, SWC...), and seems to be actively maintained.

So I don't exactly know at this time if CRA is no longer supported, but given the above information + the message you got, it may probably be sunsetting soon.
