Is there a good fork of CRA?

Is anyone maintaining a high quality fork of Create React App that has community involvement? The project is fantastic and I would love to keep using it, just with underlying package updates and minimal modifications.

If others are interested I would consider setting one up.

You don't need to fork create-react-app. All you need is to run npm create vite@latest and use that. Vite is much faster than CRA ever was.
