How to install React

Please add how should the beginners install react in their computer !! The Heading says INSTALLATION but you didn't mention how to install it :(

Hi, @Sravya3175. Assuming you have NodeJS & hence NPM installed, there are two ways you can install and use React.

1. Using create-react-app.

In your terminal, execute npx create-react-app my-app, where my-app could be any name of your choice. This should install & bootstrap all the necessary dependencies needed to run your React application.

Post installation, in your terminal, execute cd my-app && npm start. This should start the development server on http://localhost:3000.

2. Manually installing and configuring dependencies.

This is a longer procedure but grants you finer control over making configurations.

Finally, if you don't have NodeJS installed or just want to try out React App, you may use the CDN links. Follow this guide for doing so.
