v1.2.0 - Dedicated Zoom-Level Hotkeys, Presets & a Cleaner Panel
Added
- Three dedicated hotkeys: "Zoom to Level 1 / 2 / 3" (default 1.5x / 2x / 3x, adjustable).
Press to zoom to that level, press again to zoom back out. Pressing a different level's
hotkey while already zoomed smoothly re-targets to the new level instead of zooming out first. - New "Cycle zoom level" hotkey: steps Level 1 -> Level 2 -> Level 3 -> zoomed out, one press
at a time, then loops back to Level 1. - Freeze/unfreeze hotkey: pause mouse tracking while zoomed in without zooming back out.
- Preset system: save/load/delete named presets for zoom levels, speed, and follow behavior.
- "Fix All Scenes" option: optionally applies the canvas-fit fix to every scene containing the
source, not just the active one. - "Run Setup Diagnostics" button: checks bounds/scale/canvas setup and prints a clear report to
the Script Log. - Per-scene zoom level memory: remembers the last zoom level used per scene.
- Support section with links to the YouTube channel and Buy Me a Coffee.
Changed
- Rebranded as its own standalone project: Zoom to Mouse Pro.
- Properties panel reorganized into collapsible groups (Zoom Levels, Mouse Follow, Scene
Behavior, Advanced, Presets, Diagnostics & Debug, Support) for a cleaner layout.
Removed
- "Toggle follow mouse during zoom" hotkey (redundant with the new Freeze hotkey).
Fixed
- (carried over from v1.1.x) Source no longer shrinks/moves into a corner when zoom is toggled,
regardless of canvas, scene, or plugin setup.

V 1.1.1 - Fixed source shrinking into a corner during zoom
Fixed
- Source no longer shrinks/moves when zoom is toggled. Previously, the crop filter used
for the zoom effect changed the reported base resolution of the source while zoomed in
(since it physically crops the frame). Any consumer of that source — the scene item's own
transform, a second OBS canvas, or a third-party plugin like Aitum Vertical Canvas that
keeps its own independent per-canvas sizing for the same source — would see that shrinking
resolution and rescale/reposition itself accordingly, making the source visually shrink into
a corner instead of just zooming in. - Added a second filter (
scale_filter, OBS's built-in "Scaling/Aspect Ratio" filter) placed
directly after the crop filter. It rescales the cropped frame back up to the original,
constant source resolution every time. As a result, OBS always reports the same base
width/height for the source regardless of zoom level — only the pixel content changes
(i.e. the actual zoom), not the reported size. This makes the fix work correctly no matter
how many scenes/canvases/plugins are displaying the same source, without needing any
canvas-specific handling. - Also hardened
refresh_sceneitem()to always (not just once, and not just when
bounds_type == NONE) re-apply a known-good "Scale to Outer Bounds / Top Left" transform to
the zoom source on the main canvas, self-healing any previously corrupted/auto-converted
transform saved in the scene collection file.
