Welcome to the initial early preview release of Acetyl Client for Android! This release brings the lightweight, real-time messaging experience directly to Android devices.

While the mobile application is under active development, this test build provides early access to core messaging capabilities and the custom mobile interface.

And no, there is no IOS version nor will there ever be one.

Installation Instructions

1. Download the acetyl-client-v1.0.0.apk file attached under Assets below.
2. Tap the downloaded .apk file to open it with the default Android Package Installer.
3. If prompted by your device:
   • Select Settings on the system security popup.
   • Toggle Allow from this source to grant your browser or file manager permission to install external application packages.
4. Return to the prompt and tap Install to let the Android Package Installer complete the setup.
5. Launch Acetyl Client and have fun!
