1.0.42
1.0.41
Fixes
- Fixed the modal resize handle so releasing it without dragging restores the default size (replaced a direct style assignment with
setCssPropsto satisfy plugin review linting). - Cleaned up several plugin review lint warnings.
1.0.40
Fixes
- Fixed the modal resize handle: pressing it no longer makes the window jump to an oversized height, and releasing without dragging now restores the default size.
- Improved the batch re-analysis modal layout so text and buttons are spaced instead of crammed together.
1.0.39
Fixes
- Fixed the status-bar indicator so it no longer keeps showing the previous batch re-analysis result after that task finished. Single-chapter and batch re-analyses share the same indicator, and a lingering completed task made it display stale "Re-analysis done: N chapters" text even after you started re-analyzing another chapter. The indicator now only shows while a task is running and hides itself once finished.
1.0.38
Fixes
- Fixed a bug where the plugin's local content cache failed to persist. A doubled
.obsidian/plugins/path caused anENOENTerror, so your last-analyzed note text was lost after restarting Obsidian. The cache now writes to the correct.obsidian/plugins/penseed/content-cache.json.
1.0.37
What's new
- Sentence-level semantic gate: when you edit a chapter and only change the wording (not the meaning), Penseed now skips the full re-analysis — no downstream chapters get flagged and you save AI credits.
- Clear all-clear: the re-analysis popup explicitly tells you when no downstream chapters are affected, so you can keep writing with confidence.
Technical
- Re-analysis now compares your old vs new text sentence-by-sentence to tell "reworded" apart from "actually changed".
- The plugin caches your last-analyzed note text locally (in the plugin folder) so it can supply the previous version on the next re-analysis.
1.0.36
Fixes the reanalysis result window overflowing on open.
- The "Foreshadowings" and "downstream chapters affected" lists no longer expand to full height when the window first opens; they keep a fixed height with a scrollbar so the title and close button stay visible.
- Dragging the window to resize it now makes those lists grow with the window as intended.
1.0.35
Result window polish.
- The "Foreshadowings" and "downstream chapters affected" lists now resize with the window, so long lists are easier to read without a cramped fixed-height scroll.
- Removed the inaccurate "estimated credits to re-analyze all downstream chapters" line.
1.0.34
Fixes a chapter-number display bug and localizes the status bar.
- Batch re-analysis progress now shows the correct chapter number instead of an internal database ID (a plugin-triggered batch could show "Chapter 293" for a 12-chapter project).
- The Obsidian status-bar and notice text is now English, matching the rest of the plugin UI.
1.0.33
Single-chapter re-analysis now runs in the background.
Re-analyzing an existing chapter no longer blocks on a long request. Penseed submits the task, shows live progress in the status bar, and opens the results modal when it finishes — eliminating the timeouts that previously dropped the result.
Also in this release:
- When the chapter list can't be loaded, the result modal shows the count of affected chapters instead of misleading chapter IDs.
- When foreshadowings/elements can't be loaded, the modal now tells you instead of silently omitting them.
