### Last v3 Release ###
We haven't been especially consistent about tagging GitHub releases so far... Going forward, I'm planning to handle releases properly now that the library has reached a solid level of stability.
Important
Following this release, the library will be refactored to improve structure and maintainability. Planned changes include:
- Introducing better file naming conventions
- Cleaning up legacy inconsistencies
- Removing non-core concerns from the codebase (e.g. real-time presence will be moved to a plugin in the future)
- Bringing the PDF annotator packages into this monorepo to reduce fragmentation between these two closely related projects
- Making room for new features, most importantly pluggable renderers
Breaking changes are expected to be minimal and will be documented in the v4.0.0 release notes. Ideally, there will be no breaking changes unless you currently use real-time presence.
