Redcode v0.84.1
0.84.1
Patch Changes
- Preserve gateway-reported input limits separately from model context and output limits. Show the selected model and its limits separately from the last measured request in the desktop and web context panel, and validate model selection across providers, sessions and S2 defaults in the release pipeline.
- Keep selected models and connections fixed across CLI, Desktop and web. Disable gateway model fallbacks automatically for existing and new OpenAI-compatible connections, restrict OpenRouter routing, and reject reported gateway substitutions before consuming generated content or tool calls. Preserve policy errors as non-retryable failures.
Redcode v0.84.0
0.84.0
Minor Changes
-
Add static creative canvases to Design with social and banner sizes, exact-size PNG and PDF exports, and revision-scoped System One assessments in the shared desktop/web review. Creative assessments classify message, audience awareness, visual style and calls to action; all design targets can review hierarchy, clarity, density and legibility. Explicit image reviews use the configured evaluator's experimental image support and report evidence, usage and limitations without changing the user's model selection.
-
Configure HTTPS from Desktop and web Settings, or the server pairing dialog. Choose an existing self-hosted relay or explicitly select Hosted OpenTunnel, accept internet exposure, and let the execution host provision its certificate and tunnel without restarting the server. Generate an expiring pairing link and QR code to open the secure page and install the PWA.
Keep tunnel settings on the execution host, preserve an existing connection if replacement fails, and require infrastructure administration for HTTPS configuration. Show setup and reconnection status with bounded foreground polling; disabling the tunnel leaves local access and running agents intact.
Redcode v0.83.0
0.83.0
Minor Changes
-
Add reusable project environment recipes to Agents, the TUI and the CLI. Prepare, start, stop, recreate and validate development stacks on the selected execution host. Recipes are shared by project while operations and Docker Compose project names belong to the actual worktree.
Keep project Vault bindings out of saved command output, reject stale recipe revisions, serialize competing host operations and retain request receipts across retries. Interrupted operations require explicit reconciliation and are never replayed automatically. Compose stop/recreate preserves volumes; project-command recipes use explicit lifecycle scripts. These trusted development stacks remain separate from isolated worker sandboxes.
Redcode v0.82.1
0.82.1
Patch Changes
-
Coordinate provider cooldowns across sessions using the same server and authenticated account, including HTTP and WebSocket requests, with one recovery probe after overload. Preserve the existing retry status in CLI, Desktop and web.
Bound MCP startup concurrency and crash recovery, stop retries after repeated failures, reuse skill watches and avoid recursive scans of dependency directories. Suppress repeated failed watcher acquisitions and avoid loading unused provider catalogs from background events.
Persist local session execution ownership so another server process sharing the database cannot execute, interrupt, move, compact, revert or delete an owned session. Recover abandoned local ownership after process exit, preserve restart claims and return typed conflicts with CORS headers intact. Add jitter to client reconnection attempts.
-
Confirm the original worker task admission and live execution before reporting running or releasing a checkout. Observe current workers through one metadata-only API snapshot, with compatible receipt checks for older workers. Retain the original placement and IDs across interrupted admissions and recover only on explicit request.
Explain missing admission, idle or suspended execution, lost observation and changed placement in the Desktop and web worker panel using the existing design system. Reject recovery of a Session moved away from its assigned checkout, preserve canonical SDK contracts and avoid rewriting unchanged observation journals.
-
Reserve worker checkouts at the execution host with durable leases and monotonically increasing fences. Competing coordinators cannot dispatch into an occupied checkout; expired or superseded coordinators cannot send Session commands, permissions or forms. Renew control while observing work, retain reservations across partitions and suspended execution, and recover the original assignment after a coordinator restart without replaying its prompt. CLI, desktop and web share the worker protocol and display reservation, release and recovery states. Workers must support checkout fencing before accepting new coordinated tasks.
Redcode v0.82.0
0.82.0
Minor Changes
- Remove the RedSkills/redskilled integration from the CLI, Desktop, web app and server API, including its panels, polling and ACP process startup. Native Redcode workers continue through Machines, Remote workers and the CLI workers commands.
Redcode v0.81.10
0.81.10
Patch Changes
- Install Windows Desktop in the current user's Programs directory when running
redcode desktop, including its CLI and sidecar. Create a Start Menu shortcut and an Installed Apps uninstall entry, preserve running versions during upgrades, and keep projects, sessions and settings when removing Desktop.
Redcode v0.81.9
0.81.9
Patch Changes
- Fix clipboard paste in terminal setup dialogs, add Alt+V and Shift+Insert shortcuts and right-click paste in prompt inputs. On Windows, npm installation creates launchers that invoke the native executable directly without a persistent Node.js parent process.
Redcode v0.81.7
0.81.7
Patch Changes
- Make web app installation discoverable in Settings with the browser's native install prompt, installed status and guidance for manual installation or insecure network connections. Automatically apply the design system's tiny spacing and denser reading typography on narrow screens while preserving mobile touch and editable-text minimums.
Redcode v0.81.6
0.81.6
Patch Changes
- Release cancelled Desktop requests immediately, respect disk backpressure when capturing shell output, and bound terminal queues in both the server and Desktop so slow clients or rendering cannot grow memory without limit. Run local typechecks sequentially to avoid competing compiler memory peaks.
Redcode v0.81.5
0.81.5
Patch Changes
- Always use Code Mode in the shared agent server so Desktop, web and CLI sessions receive a compact tool catalog and on-demand discovery of connected MCP tools. Remove the enable/disable setting and ignore obsolete flags while retaining execution limits and tool permission checks.
