v1.15.2

@redomar redomar released this 14 Oct 13:06
v1.15.2
377b50c

Fixed

  • Closed runways in an ATIS showed as in use. "RWYS 18R AND 36L CLSD" (also CLOSED, NOT AVBL, U/S) now shows a red RWY 18R CLSD chip on the weather card.
  • Runways for arrivals and departures showed T/O only. "ARVG AND DPTG RWYS 36R, 36C" and "RWY 24 IN USE FOR ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURES" now mark each runway LDG · T/O.
  • Runways were missed: single-digit runways ("RWY 4R", "DEPARTING RWY 9") and lists joined only by spaces ("RWY 35L 35R") are read in full.
  • Approach runways ("ILS RWY 4R APPROACH", "EXP ILS APCH RWY 27L") are marked for landing.
  • ATIS ARR / DEP label comes only from the broadcast's name ("EGLL ARR ATIS", "ARRIVAL INFORMATION"), not from text such as "EXPECT DELAYS ON ARR"; a combined DEP AND ARR ATIS shows as plain ATIS.

v1.15.1
7f9fecc

Changed

  • Page tabs are folder tabs: a row of icon tabs (Plan, Simple, Weather, Radio, Settings, Manual) with the current page's name and what it's for on the strip below; point at a tab to see its name there. Wind lab keeps its own dashed tab underneath.

v1.15.0

v1.15.0
d1b4ab5

Added

  • Simple page (/simple), on a Simple tab with the other pages: the essentials of the active plan on one read-only page, built from the reader's own sheets so it reads the same.
    • Flight: the vital data first: route, take-off and landing times, air and block time, cruise level, step climb (or None), distance with the average wind component, average ISA, alternate, take-off alternate, CTOT and MEL items. Dispatcher remarks appear when there are any.
    • Fuel: block fuel large, the margin above ALTN + FINRES, the block fuel make-up as a bar, and landing fuel. PIC extra entered in the reader is included.
    • Weights: TOW, LAW and ZFW against their maximums as gauges, amber from 95%.
    • Runways: planned take-off and landing runways with V-speeds, flaps, FLEX, QNH, remarks such as TOGA, and head- and crosswind components.
    • Weather: a card per airport with the METAR in plain words, and for departure, destination and alternate the forecast at your time there.
    • Watch out for (critical NOTAMs at departure and destination, SIGMETs on the route) and Route (the route and waypoint list, with TOC and TOD) start folded, with their headers saying what's inside.
    • Print MCDU set-up sheet from the Flight header.

v1.14.2

v1.14.2
6719a49

Fixed

  • Plans failed to open with "API version 6.4.299 does not match the Worker version 6.3.289" in browsers that still had the previous pdf.js worker cached. The worker's address now includes the pdf.js version, so an upgrade always fetches the matching worker.

v1.14.1

@redomar redomar released this 07 Oct 17:44
v1.14.1
e75d4e8

Added

  • Map key under the waypoint card, its bottom level with the map's: route, waypoints, departure and arrival, FIR / UIR, fuel ERA and SIGMET areas as the map shows them, plus the height and depth bands in the Elevation style.
  • Distance scale on the route map: a round number of nautical miles for the current zoom.

Changed

  • Height map is now Elevation (Settings → Route map). The shaded-relief image is replaced by vector bands: height bands with contour lines on land, and depth bands with dashed depth contours at sea, in the style of the OFP Planner's charts. Panning and zooming no longer redraw it, and only the area around the route is downloaded. A saved Height map choice carries over.

v1.14.0

v1.14.0
6dfcc5f

Added

  • Manual (/manual), on a full-width tab under the page tabs. It covers:
    • Getting started: what the site does, the screen, opening plans, and a Find it fast table showing where each piece of information is in the reader and on the printed OFP.
    • Workflows: a quick reference card by phase of flight, then step-by-step briefing, gate, take-off, cruise, en-route changes, arrival and after-landing flows, with worked examples.
    • The reader: every section, with where it comes from on the OFP, what you can do there and examples.
    • Other pages: Weather, Radio, Settings and Wind lab.
    • Reference: saved data, keys and gestures, colours, troubleshooting, and the full glossary.
  • Searching the manual: press / to search every topic and glossary term; a result inside a folded section opens it.

v1.13.1

@redomar redomar released this 07 Oct 16:20
v1.13.1
1335aaa

Fixed

  • Nav log quick fill:
    • The row under the pointer (or the one you're typing in) also offers the current time and the predicted fuel. The prediction carries the fuel Δ of the nearest filled-in fix above, against TFOB when PIC extra is on.
    • The clock, ✓ and ▲▼ buttons sit over the next column instead of widening the table, so the columns no longer shift sideways when an offer appears. A dashed line still separates each button from its box.

Changed

  • Updated packages: Next.js 16.4, React 19.3, pdf.js 6.4, ESLint 10, TypeScript 6.0.
  • The code is now formatted with Prettier.

v1.13.0

@redomar redomar released this 06 Oct 00:42
v1.13.0
f437250

Added

  • Clock on the OOOI actual times (Times & weights → Actual Z). Every box shows the current UTC time and a clock button that stamps it, including boxes already filled in.
  • Gesture zoom on the route map.
    • Scroll the mouse wheel or pinch on a trackpad or touchscreen to zoom, centred where you point.
    • Double-click or double-tap to zoom in; Shift + double-click zooms out.
    • At the whole-route view, scrolling down still scrolls the page.

Fixed

  • No contours map: some neighbouring countries, such as France and Belgium, had the same tone. There are now four parchment tones, and no two neighbours share one.

v1.12.0

@redomar redomar released this 05 Oct 21:43
v1.12.0
d42c6b6

Added

  • FIR boundary marks on the route map. A short line across both the route and the dashed FIR / UIR line shows where one FIR ends and the next begins.
  • Settings → FIR / UIR on the route map:
    • Lines with boundaries (the default): the new marks.
    • Lines only: the previous look, with a circle where the route crosses in.
    • Hidden: no FIR / UIR lines, marks or names on the map.

v1.11.0

Choose a tag to compare

@redomar redomar released this 05 Oct 21:25
v1.11.0
d1bf320

Added

  • Quick fill in the navigation log. The fix after the last one you filled in offers two values:
    • ATO: the current UTC time. Click the clock (or press Enter) to stamp it.
    • AFOB: the predicted fuel, which is the planned fuel (TFOB when PIC extra is on) plus your last fuel Δ. Click ✓ (or press Enter) to accept it.
  • ▲▼ on the latest AFOB step it by 0.1 t; the arrow keys do the same. Once you fill the next fix, the arrows move to it.
  • You can still type any value yourself.
