RigOne v1.1.8

RigOne v1.1.8 is a major operating-panel and visual polish release, focused on making the main radio surface more beautiful, more flexible, and more useful in everyday IC-7300 operation.

Highlights

  • Added a new analog signal meter with an elliptical S-scale, smooth colour gradient, peak hold, and subtle GW3JVB watermark.
  • Added smoother signal needle movement and fading peak markers for a less jumpy meter display.
  • Added Full, Focused, Compact, and Custom panel layouts.
  • Added a compact panel mode with a narrow control surface, settings cog, footer, and tagline.
  • Added an AF gain slider to the tuning control area.
  • Added an IC-7300 filter button for cycling FIL 1, FIL 2, and FIL 3.
  • Added native CI-V address configuration, useful where the radio does not use the default IC-7300 address.
  • Added quick mode and band selectors from the VFO status buttons.
  • Added a setting to enable or disable tooltips.
  • Improved mode/band/filter handling so app-driven band and mode changes preserve the selected radio filter.
  • Improved Hamlib mode handling so existing passband width is preserved when changing modes.
  • Refined the VFO display, panel spacing, button styling, NB/FIL/NR indicators, and footer behaviour.

Notes

  • The waterfall/panadapter currently depends on the native IC-7300 connection and may require a suitable CI-V USB baud rate, normally 115200, for reliable scope data.
  • Hamlib support remains useful for core radio control, but not every native IC-7300 function has a generic Hamlib equivalent.
  • Direct IC-7300 support remains the main tested path for this release.
