macOS note: the binaries are unsigned. If macOS blocks one, clear the quarantine attribute:

sudo xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine <path>/mdcompress

Changelog

  • Add DCD support and auto-validated description inference for compress
  • Replace per-frame logging with a self-updating progress line
  • Fix int32 overflow in dist2_3d (important notice: because of this the old format and new format are not compatibile, and we recommend recompressing using mdcompress 2.0.0)
