Field recordings, set 1

The recordings of Phosphene's Field track (from version 1.2.0 on): 157 original FLAC files, 1.97 GB.

• 120 field recordings in 30 categories, four each: rainforest, night, insects, foliage, wetland, mud, cave, river, sea, rain, wind, underwater, ice, desert, fire, geothermal, seismic, ritual objects, abandoned places, tunnels, metal, drones, electric hum, ventilation, factory, polar station, radio and empty space, grain. Generated with Stable Audio 3 for Noctuary by the same author.
• 37 NASA recordings (not subject to copyright; credit: NASA; the Webb sonifications NASA, ESA, CSA, STScI): sounds from Mars, mission recordings and signals, the Webb sonifications. The longer ones play as atmospheres on the Field track, the ones up to 25 s as the effect "Space Shot". Using them implies no endorsement by NASA.

You normally don't download these by hand: the setup of Phosphene 1.2.0 fetches both archives when its component "Field recordings" is ticked (the default) and installs them once into %ProgramData%\Phosphene\field.

By hand (portable zip): unpack both archives beside Phosphene.exe, so that a folder field lies next to it. Meta Quest: adb push field /sdcard/Android/data/com.reneweller.phosphene.quest/files/

Without the recordings Phosphene plays as before; only the Field track and the NASA shots stay silent. Where every file comes from: field/CREDITS-field.md inside the archives.
