Looking at your logs, the key line is: Renovate is fetching the changelog from the linuxserver wrapper repo, not the upstream Prowlarr repo. This is because changelogUrl overrides where it looks, but it's still bound to the version tags that exist in that repo — and linuxserver/docker-prowlarr uses its own versioning scheme (with -ls suffixes), so the version comparison 2.3.5 -> 2.4.0 may not match any tags there, resulting in an empty/missing changelog in the PR body. changelogUrl pointing to upstream (https://github.com/Prowlarr/Prowlarr) — this will work only if the upstream repo has tags matching the version numbers Renovate tracks (e.g. v2.3.5, v2.4.0). Prowlarr does tag releases this way, so this is worth trying. Set it like: json "packageRules": [{ sourceUrl + changelogUrl together — sourceUrl controls the PR's source link, changelogUrl controls where changelog is fetched. You can set both independently. The most promising fix is option 1 — point changelogUrl at https://github.com/Prowlarr/Prowlarr and confirm that repo has v2.3.5 and v2.4.0 tags. If it does, Renovate should embed the changelog correctly. |

The core problem: There's no clean way to tell Renovate "use version X from repo A, but fetch the changelog from repo B using a different t…
