Deployment tooling for running ReportMate on your own infrastructure. This repo holds a Docker Compose stack, a consolidated PostgreSQL schema, and a Packer template that bakes the same stack into a VM appliance image.
It builds no application code. The dashboard and the API are pulled as published container images from GitHub Container Registry:
ghcr.io/reportmate/webghcr.io/reportmate/reportmate-api
ReportMate agents on your endpoints post module data to the API. The API writes it to PostgreSQL. The Next.js dashboard reads through the API. This repo wires those three pieces together on a single host.

If you would rather run ReportMate on managed cloud services, use the Terraform modules instead of this repo.
- Getting Started — from a clean host to a running dashboard.
- Services — every Compose service, its image, ports, volumes, and purpose.
- Configuration — every environment variable the stack consumes.
- Appliance Image — what the Packer build produces and how first boot works.
- Backup and Restore — what state exists and how to copy it out.
- Upgrading — moving between image tags.
- TLS and Reverse Proxy — putting the stack behind HTTPS.
- Troubleshooting — failure modes with the actual error text.
