Upgrade notes (read first)

• API group renamed to tenax.run (ADR 0022). Manifests must use apiVersion: tenax.run/v1alpha1 and tenax.run/* label keys.
• Upgrade from 0.5 through 0.6. The chart keeps the old tenax.republic.global CRDs for this release, so nothing is deleted on upgrade. On start, the controller:
  • copies your BackupStores, BackupPolicies and BackupTargets to the new group;
  • deletes the old objects;
  • waits while an old-group restore is still running;
  • replaces streamer Deployments that use the old labels.
• Backups come back by themselves: they are re-imported from S3, and nothing in the bucket changes. 0.7 drops the old CRDs.

New

• 13 languages. The CLI, the web console, the website and the user docs now speak English, Español, Português (Brasil), Français, Deutsch, Italiano, Polski, Русский, Bahasa Indonesia, 日本語, 한국어, 简体中文 and 繁體中文.
  • CLI: commands and flags stay English. Choose the language with tenax config set language <code> or TENAX_LANG.
  • Console: language picker in the header; it also follows your browser.
• Website on tenax.run: documentation, an Install the CLI page, links back to the home page, a privacy policy and terms of use.
• WinGet manifests point at tenax.run (homepage, privacy, license, docs).

Fixes

• Turning PITR off no longer leaves the stream cleanup finalizer behind when the update conflicts.

• Image: v0.6.0, signed with cosign (keyless).
