Support for SpringBoot 4

Hello resilience4j team,

Spring Boot 4 is around the corner. It is due on November 20th. As of this writing, we are only a few weeks away from the release.

May I ask what the plan is for resilience4j to support SpringBoot 4?

Would it be possible to have esilience4j-spring-boot4?

It would be nice to at least get some snapshot build which has this spring boot support in that snapshot release, but as far as I can see, the master builds are failing and snapshot release is not published into sonatype: https://github.com/resilience4j/resilience4j/actions/runs/20639804567/job/59269892130 . So could that be fixed at least so that this change could be tested?

Spring boot has nowadays retry built-in but no built-in support for circuit breakers, so resilience4j is still a valid one to be used with spring boot.

@RobWin I will have some time so I could take a look at the pipelines. #2393 should fix the snapshot publishing, but I can also take over the release pipeline (#2394). I'm maintainer of 2 projects (json-masker and spring-boot-data-source-decorator) both with a release pipeline that matches exactly what you mentioned in the prompt 😃

I see that the build pipelines are fixed in master. So can the master snapshot be used from some repository? I would like to try out the snapshot release with spring boot 4 support. But I did not find recent snapshot releases from anywhere (not from https://oss.sonatype.org/ and not from https://central.sonatype.com/ ). Instructions are not that clear from where you can use snapshot releases.

@mvestola-elisafi I've mentioned it in #2393 that the snapshots are now located in a different central repository.

For people here who want to try the snapshot version you can use this:

Snapshot release is there as commented above. I have confirmed that it is working. Currently running resilience4j with spring boot 4 in one application without any issues.

When using maven, take it into use by updating your pom.xml file like this:
