@reverdin reverdin released this 07 Sep 20:00

Juice now gives you more ways to keep an eye on your Codex quota.

  • Choose the new Beer, Coffee, or Rocket from the Drinks and Objects menus. The original glass remains available as Beer Legacy.
  • Rocket's fuel shows your weekly quota, with its flame reflecting the five-hour window when available.
  • Your chosen object is now remembered when you quit and reopen Juice. Existing installations keep Beer Legacy until you choose another object.
  • The floating window fits each object and keeps its position when you switch.

Download the DMG below and drag Juice to Applications. This release supports both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.

@reverdin reverdin released this 04 Sep 06:07

Juice turns your remaining Codex quota into a floating glass of beer on macOS.

The beer level shows the longest quota window reported by Codex, normally the weekly allowance. When a five-hour window is also available, foam and restrained bubbles represent it independently.

At a glance:

  • Live Codex quota through the documented Codex app-server
  • Weekly and optional five-hour quota visualization
  • A transparent, draggable beer glass that stays above the desktop and applications
  • Small, medium, and big glass sizes
  • Persisted glass position and visibility
  • Menu-bar controls and manual refresh
  • A shareable quota card for X
  • Stable-release checks through juice.li

Requirements:

  • macOS 15 or later
  • An authenticated Codex installation on the Mac

Open the DMG, drag Juice.app to Applications, then launch Juice from the Applications folder.

The app and DMG are signed with Developer ID and notarized by Apple. The attached checksum verifies the downloaded disk image.
