0.0.6: feat(core-network): Add optional request retry and improve documentation

Choose a tag to compare

@rezaramesh-dev rezaramesh-dev released this 16 Feb 10:27
Adds an optional, configurable request retry mechanism to the `core-network` module and provides comprehensive documentation in a new `Readme` file.

-   **core-network:**
    - Introduces an optional request retry mechanism.
    - Adds `RetryConfig` interface to define retry attempts and delay.
    - Implements `RetryInterceptor` to handle the retry logic.
    - Uses `@BindsOptionalOf` in `OptionalRetryModule` to make `RetryConfig` an optional dependency, allowing consumers to enable it via Hilt.
    - Removes the hardcoded `HttpLoggingInterceptor` provider from `NetworkModule`, delegating logging configuration to the consuming application.

-   **docs:**
    - Adds a detailed `Readme` file for the `core-network` module.
    - The documentation covers features, installation via JitPack, and usage examples for providing a base URL, signature interceptor, logging, custom headers, and the new retry configuration.

-   **build:**
    - Updates Android Gradle Plugin from `9.0.0` to `9.0.1`.
    -   Updates `phonenumber` dependency from `9.0.23` to `9.0.24`.

0.0.4: feat(core-network): Add request signing interceptor

Choose a tag to compare

@rezaramesh-dev rezaramesh-dev released this 15 Feb 11:47
Introduces an `XSignatureInterceptor` to automatically add a signed `x-signature` header to outgoing network requests for authentication. This change also increases the minimum SDK version for all core modules.

- **`core-network`:**
    - Adds `XSignatureInterceptor`, which generates a signature using AES encryption based on a public key and a timestamp.
    - Defines a `SignatureConfig` interface to provide the necessary `apiKey` and `hmacKey` for signing.
    - Integrates the `XSignatureInterceptor` into the `OkHttpClient` via the Hilt `NetworkModule`.
    - Cleans up unused Hilt qualifiers.

- **Build:**
    - Increases `minSdk` from 24 to 26 for `core-common`, `core-network`, `core-security`, `core-storage`, and `core-ui` modules. This is required for the `java.util.Base64` API used in the new interceptor.

0.0.3: refactor(core-network): Simplify Hilt providers and remove qualifiers

Choose a tag to compare

@rezaramesh-dev rezaramesh-dev released this 15 Feb 10:18
Refactors the Hilt `NetworkModule` to simplify dependency provision by removing custom qualifiers and the internal `NetworkConfig`. This makes the module more configurable by requiring the base URL to be provided externally.

-   **core-network:**
    - Removes custom Hilt qualifiers (`@ConnectionSpecProvide`, `@OkHttpClientProvide`, `@GsonProvide`, `@RetrofitProvide`) from the provider methods in `NetworkModule`.
    - Removes the `NetworkConfig` class, as the base URL is now expected to be provided by an external module via the `@NetworkUrls` qualifier.
    -   Updates `provideOkHttpClient` to use `listOf()` instead of `Collections.singletonList()`.

-   **IDE:**
    - Adds Gradle migration settings to the project's `.idea/gradle.xml` file.

@rezaramesh-dev rezaramesh-dev released this 14 Feb 15:21
Updates the Java toolchain version from 22 to 25 for the Gradle daemon and module compilation.

-   **Gradle:**
    -   Updates the `toolchainVersion` from 22 to 25 in `gradle/gradle-daemon-jvm.properties`.
    - Updates the corresponding `toolchainUrl` values for all platforms.

-   **Core Modules:**
    -   Sets `sourceCompatibility` and `targetCompatibility` to `JavaVersion.VERSION_25` in the `build.gradle.kts` file for `core-common`, `core-network`, `core-security`, `core-storage`, and `core-ui`.
