Choose a tag to compare

@rezkycodes rezkycodes released this 19 Aug 08:20

Full migration to a native Rust + GTK4/Libadwaita app (replaces the Python app).

Highlights

  • Native Rust rewrite — lower memory (~PSS 53 MB vs ~70 MB Python), no runtime interpreter.
  • English UI throughout.
  • Mission Center-style monitors (auto-detect, realtime graphs): CPU, Memory, GPU, Fan, Network, Drive, Battery — grouped tabs with in-page sub-tab switchers + Lucide icons.
  • Task manager: Applications & Processes (search, CPU/Mem/Swap/Drive I-O + listening Port columns, stop/force-kill) and full Services table (start/stop/restart, detail modal).
  • Hardware controls: battery 80% charge limit, powersave/performance/auto CPU profiles, fan profiles, GPU mode switching, keyboard RGB, Logitech G304 (polling rate/DPI/onboard).
  • Full-black monochrome theme, always-visible sidebar.

Install

  • Debian/Ubuntu: sudo dpkg -i asus-power-manager_2.0.0_amd64.deb
  • Fedora/RHEL: sudo rpm -i asus-power-manager-2.0.0-1.fc44.x86_64.rpm

Launches as Tweaks ASUS TUF from the app menu. The old asus-power-manager command remains as a symlink.
