This tag marks the first working instance of my malloc implementation.
It features:

  • mymalloc

    • responsible for creating an allocation in the designated heap

  • myfree

    • responsible for freeing an allocation in the designated heap
    • performs reclamation and merging of adjacent memory areas

  • mycalloc

    • helper function on top of mymalloc

  • test

    • basic tests to make sure that freeing all allocations restores the heap to a known fully free state
