Play in the browser at https://rfog.org, over SSH with ssh -p 2222 yourname@rfog.org, or with the terminal client below.
Install the terminal client. Download the archive for your system, unpack it, and run rfog (rfog.exe on Windows). It connects to rfog.org; rfog bots plays offline.

The binaries are not signed yet. On macOS, clear the download flag once: xattr -d com.apple.quarantine rfog. On Windows, choose "More info", then "Run anyway". Check a download against SHA256SUMS with shasum -a 256 -c SHA256SUMS --ignore-missing.
A terminal with 24-bit colour (iTerm2, Ghostty, WezTerm, kitty, Windows Terminal) shows the board at its best.
