BrickStore has a new website at https://www.brickstore.dev, which is also maintained as part of the GitHub repository. This should make the somewhat hidden content in the GitHub Wiki pages a lot more visible.

New features:

  • Brickognize is now directly integrated into the add-item dialog: just hook up a webcam (or connect to your phone's camera) and click the new "camera" icon next to the filter.
    • In order to make Brickcognize's "detect anything" mode more useful, the item type selector now also supports an "Any" type.
  • Colors, categories and recent files can now be pinned: once pinned, these items will always stay at the top of their respective lists.
    • List items can be pinned via the pin icon on the right-hand side, while the recent files on the home page can be pinned via a context menu.

Fixes:

  • The column sizes on the "consolidate individually" dialog page were not mirrored correctly from the current document.

Optimizations:

  • The BrickLink catalog database loads at least twice as fast at startup and uses 50% less memory at runtime.
  • Initializing the "appears-in" view for popular items (e.g. Plate 1 x 1) could take a few seconds.
