more conformant with https://codeberg.org/InvisibleXML/ixml/src/branch/main/tests
The results (run via etc/ixml_test_suite.py) are:
PASS all tests 485/750 = 64.7%
PASS /w skipped tests 722/750 = 96.3%
The entire ixml test suite ran in ~10s ... the above fixes are a first pass ... performance will come later...
