ClickMap v1.1.0
ClickMap v1.1.0
ClickMap now targets exact points instead of regions, keeps your cursor where it is when a key fires, and lets you see your targets on screen whenever you want.
✨ What's new
- Point targets — instead of dragging a box, click the exact spot you want. A crosshair follows the cursor with live coordinates; one click sets the point, then press the key to assign. Targets can be re-picked from the editor without deleting them.
- Cursor behaviour setting — choose what happens to your mouse when a target fires:
- Click and put the cursor back (new default) — the click lands and the cursor ends where it was.
- Click without touching the cursor — the cursor never moves at all (works with classic Win32 apps; WPF apps, games, and elevated windows ignore it).
- Move the cursor to the target — the 1.0 behaviour.
- Show / Hide — toggle a persistent on-screen marker for any targets, labelled with their keys. Markers follow edits and disappear on delete.
- Multi-select — Ctrl/Shift-click, tick All, or press
Ctrl+A. Show/Hide and Delete act on every selected target; Edit works on one at a time. - Key labels on flash — click feedback and Show markers display the key that fires the target.
- Coordinates in the list — each target row shows its click type and point.
🐛 Fixes
- The old "send an absolute click without moving the cursor" option actually clicked wherever the cursor happened to be. Replaced by the cursor behaviour setting above.
- Tooltips rendered as empty boxes (light text on a light background). All tooltips are now legible, and the Edit / Show / Delete buttons explain themselves while disabled.
- The cursor-behaviour dropdown showed an internal type name instead of the option label.
⬆️ Upgrading from 1.0
Just run the new exe. On first launch it converts regions.json to targets.json — every region becomes its center point, which is exactly where 1.0 clicked — and keeps the old file as regions.json.migrated. Your settings carry over; the old "move cursor" preference maps to the matching cursor behaviour.

ClickMap v1.0.0
ClickMap v1.0.0
The first release of ClickMap — a small always-on Windows widget that maps
keyboard keys to mouse clicks at saved screen regions. Press a key → a click fires
at the center of the region you assigned, system-wide.
✨ Features
- Define and save multiple screen regions by dragging a box on screen.
- Assign a key or hotkey (with Ctrl/Alt/Shift/Win) to each region.
- Per-region click type: left / right / middle / double.
- Always-on-top floating widget with a tray icon; remembers its position.
- Pause any time, plus a global panic key (default
Ctrl+Alt+P). - Conflict detection, flash preview, and optional visual/sound feedback.
- Optional launch at Windows startup.
- Reliable by design: single-instance, atomic config saves, corrupt-file recovery,
and file logging.
