@riaanjutte riaanjutte released this 25 Aug 19:57

This prerelease brings the published build in sync with the current Mission Guard repository.

Highlights

  • Refines recovery actions with clear green active states and safer restore-button availability.
  • Keeps View all snapshots useful when no editor is running while preventing unsafe restores.
  • Updates the recovery library live when new snapshots are created.
  • Shows Great Battles and Korea artwork in the overview and recovery-point list.
  • Uses consistent blue enabled switches throughout the interface.
  • Reads and displays the actual application version from build metadata.
  • Adds a complete screenshot gallery to the README.
  • Retains the tiny native tray host; the .NET 10 WPF dashboard still opens only on demand.

Installation

Download IL2MissionGuard.exe and run it. Existing settings and recovery points are preserved.

First beta release of the redesigned IL-2 Mission Guard.

Highlights

  • Lightweight native tray host with the modern .NET 10 WPF dashboard loaded only when needed.
  • Automatic timestamped recovery points for IL-2 Great Battles and IL-2 Korea.
  • Restore, filter, refresh, and selectively delete recovery points from the dashboard.
  • Automatic recovery-list updates while the Recovery points page is open.
  • Configurable autosave interval, retention, notifications, editor protection, and light/dark/system themes.
  • Verified in-app updates, including beta releases.
  • Refined application, toolbar, and tray iconography.

Important

New missions need one manual save before Mission Guard can create recovery points.

This is a beta release. Please report unexpected behavior through the GitHub issue tracker and retain normal mission backups while testing.
