• better adaptation to lon/lat plots
• use a different heuristic to guess if the current plot is lon/lat
  in mf_scale()
• use correct plot limits in mf_raster()

• add 'res' argument to mf_png() to set nominal resolution
• add 'leg_val_dec' & 'leg_val_big' to set decimal and big mark values in
  relevent functions (those already using 'leg_val_rnd')
