Release list
Mimicore 2.7.3
Each Quality setting now explains its advantage and its drawback.
Mimicore 2.7.2
A guided tour of every page on a fresh install, and a short What's new tour after updates that change the interface.
Mimicore 2.7.1
Trained voices now have a Quality switch like instant voices: Auto, Low (lowest delay), Medium and High (smoothest).
Mimicore 2.7.0
Auto-tuned live voice: Mimicore benchmarks your PC after install (and on demand) and picks the best smooth quality for instant and trained voices, keeps adjusting while you talk (self-healing), and shows live CPU, GPU, block time and glitches on the Live page. Add-ons are simplified to Instant voice cloning and Trained voices; Voice training and Dubbing stay. New voices need just a name and a recording.
Mimicore 2.6.7
Better on slow PCs and integrated graphics: trained voices now use longer blocks when the PC cannot keep up and step down by themselves; instant voices get a Lite quality that adapts to the PC; the Fast model tier is recommended on weaker PCs.
Mimicore 2.6.6
New voice is now a single page (name and sample together). Update buttons are aligned on the right in Settings > About. Escape closes dialogs.
Mimicore 2.6.5
No consent screens, checkboxes or spoken statements in the app any more: the terms are accepted once on the download page. New voices are created with just a name and a recording.
Mimicore 2.6.4
Speak page: the Speak/Stop button stays visible without scrolling (fixed automatically by the AutoFixer from a user report). Sign-in links now expire after 10 minutes.
Mimicore 2.6.3
Accessibility: every drop-down and slider now has a name for screen readers, heading order is fixed and the light theme's green hint is readable. Support assistant improvements are live for everyone already.
Mac beta (Apple Silicon)
Mimicore for Apple Silicon Macs (M1 or newer, macOS 12+). Free while in beta: every feature is unlocked until the official Mac release. Early build, not notarized: open it with right-click > Open the first time. The virtual microphone needs the free BlackHole 2ch driver (Mimicore guides you). Live voice changing needs a fast Mac. DIAGNOSTICS: while in beta the app automatically uploads its log (your user name and e-mail addresses removed; never audio or text you type) so problems on Macs can be fixed; switch it off in Settings > Your data.
